BOXPOD can support up to 300 g of device weight, making it suitable for most smartphones, including larger flagship models.
For reference, the iPhone 17 Pro Max weighs around 231–233 g and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra weighs 214 g, both within BOXPOD’s recommended weight capacity.
Note: The 300 g limit refers to the total weight of the phone and any attached accessories. Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity.

Can I carry BOXPOD on an airplane?
Yes. BOXPOD is compact enough to fit in your backpack or cabin luggage. Since it contains a rechargeable battery, we recommend carrying it in your cabin baggage, as per most airline guidelines.
Can I use Frame One and BoxPod together?
Yes, you can use Frame I and BoxPod I together for indoor and outdoor recording. For horizontal YouTube videos (16:9), you can mount both your phone and Frame I on BoxPod. However, for vertical Instagram videos, BoxPod cannot support both your phone and Frame I together due to its maximum weight capacity of 300g.
Alternatively, you can connect Frame I to your iPhone and hold Frame One in your hand to monitor your framing while recording.
Does it work with both Android and iPhone?
Yes. BOXPOD is compatible with both Android and iPhone devices that support Bluetooth camera shutters.
Do I need to install any app?
No. BOXPOD works without any additional app. Simply mount your phone, pair the Bluetooth remote once, and you're ready to shoot.
